...We Are Back!

Dearest Eddy County Health Council Members,

I have some very exciting news to share: we have finally secured a fiscal agent AND new funding! That means that we were able to hire a new part time health council coordinator and will be holding our first meeting this month on Wednesday, April 17th AT 4 PM. Moving forward, meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of the month at 4 pm both in person and online. We are excited to announce that Sherriff Candidate Victor Martinez has offered to stop by and talk to the health council about how he will support the health and well being of Eddy County citizens if he is elected.

We will also be getting back to our basics by reviewing the health council's bylaws and calling for executive board nominees. Additionally, we will be brainstorming potential projects for the upcoming fiscal year. The details of all of these topics and more will be discussed in the meeting and an agenda with the topics of discussion will be sent out on Monday, April 15th. In the meantime, if you are interested in assisting me with facilitating our monthly meetings, please let me know.

Eddy County Health Council Membership is still open for those who wish to join. We are looking to fill most board positions. If you would like to help make a difference in the health of our community, then please apply for membership today at https://tinyurl.com/ECHCApplication or email [email protected].

Our bylaws can be reviewed by going to https://tinyurl.com/ECHCBylaws. If you are interested in a board member position, please reach out to me via email so that I can provide you with the application packet. Thank you for continuing to improve the health of our county one person at a time. We will see you soon!
